New Year means a new start.

Every new year is a beautiful reminder of God’s grace for a fresh season— a new start.

That new start is exactly the time of grace that homeless young people need. The Bible says to defend the fatherless, to fight on their behalf (Psalm 82:3) and because of the generosity of our supporters and the consistency of our volunteers, that’s exactly what we’ve been able to do.

Take Caleb for example:

He spent much of his childhood and adolescence bouncing around from foster home to foster home. His 18th birthday came and he aged out of the system.

Moving from couch to couch was his only option. This option ran out and he had nowhere to go. Thankfully, we had a spot in our Hope House and Caleb had a place to call home. Through a safe and stable place to belong, mentoring, life skills training, and the support of a community of believers, Caleb now works full-time and is learning his way to self-sufficiency!

WELCOME TYLER BUTTON, OUR NEW RA!

An RA (Resident Assistant) is so important for the overall success of the Hope House program. They are able to provide continual support while implementing a caring environment in our homes that directly show the love of Christ.

“I’m excited to have someone who sees the passion we have for the hurting come alongside us to help make the visions that we have a reality. I’m grateful Tyler has joined our team as we work to show the love of Jesus to these young people.”
